The State Agricultural and Food Inspection Authority (CAFIA) has been involved since the beginning of January. A list of items that must be monitored during the inspection has expanded. The information on the packaging, for example, must be printed in full size and the background on the packaging must be so contrasting that the obligatory data in it must not be lost and will remain in time.
In addition to the standard supervision of food in stores, the inspectorate checks whether restaurants, cafeterias, but also cafes and confectioneries are safe, offer quality goods, have them marked on the day and warn of allergens on offer. What inspectors in the new year, reveals the director of control Sttn Agricultural and Food Inspection Jindich Pokora.
How did you prepare for the changes and who will you do the most?
From 1 January, we will carry out a single inspection in addition to the existing 45,000 establishments in another 70,000 cities of the common canteen. Because so many operations could not be supervised with 210 inspectors now, we received 40 new table cities.
The inspection of the inspectorate has been more intensive since the arrest in 2014, and as of 1 January 2015, special inspections have begun to replace the new duties with the operators of the common canteen. The frequency of inspections will also be determined according to the risk analysis, and we will often check the honest operator.
But also with situations that a number of entrepreneurs are new to the new provisions. In such cases, the inspector will be appointed to determine the enlightenment activity in order to reach the status quo as soon as possible. This tool is much more than a fine for reasonable entrepreneurs. The first results of the inspections will be available especially in the spring of 2015.
What do you include the checks for?
The control strategy is not very pronounced. Food safety control is the basis. In the second city, we will uncover a fake food. From my point of view, this is a problem of the present and an impact not only on the interests of consumers, but also on the protection of competition.
The inspections will focus on the new requirements and, in addition, on the size of the psma. M bt vt – at least 0.9 and 1.2 mm depending on the size of the product. For this purpose, the inspectors were technically equipped with special calibrated magnifiers. As far as the contrast of the packaging is concerned, a mere assessment of the place is not enough here, a special laboratory technique is required.
How did the ceiling for sanctions for non-compliance increase? Will you impose the penalty of not two?
The upper limit has increased from 3 to 10 million crowns for the most frequent deficiencies. This fact can be assessed in such a way that there has been a significant increase in the social involvement of the unfinished area of food, and the assumption that especially for food recidivists, fines will increase rapidly.
A fine bag is not a cl, it is just a means of achieving a customs if it is not going well. In the correct assessment, the extent, urgency, duration and manner of violation of the regulation must be taken into account, as well as property relations, possible recidivism and other facts. In the bottom case, it is not a sideways shot.
