Hannover (From special Technet.cz newsletter) – MSI took a lot of inspiration from competing Apple. The new X m notebook of the MacBook Air can compete not only in design, but also in price and equipment.
If you look at the MacBook Air and MSI X320 / 340, you will certainly notice the similarities. The same profile, which tends towards the edge, the same different joints of the display, “single-touch” touchpad, tinctipalcov display, the absence of optical drive… And in the version with silver plastics, laptops are so similar that Steve Jobs would be stuck.
Therefore, we do not focus on differences, especially on similarities. The longest is the price, which can start at 1,000 USD (first). Apple sells your MacBook Air from $ 1,800, the star version can be purchased from $ 1,250.
How did MSIku manage to save? The front notebook is made of plastic, while Apple’s competition is made of valuable clay. The big difference is the three keyboards, which at MSI, unlike the MacBook Air, are not backlit.
Plastics have a summer surface finish, so on the MSI wall at CeBIT the notebook was incredibly covered with fingerprints. Due to lack of time, we did not wait for the end.
MSI series X reigns, is available. The MacBook Air’s very large number of interfaces (one USB, monitor input, and headphone jack) were not overtaken. MSI is equipped with pairs of USB, HDMI, monitor input, card flow, Ethernet and pairs of audio connectors. Along with the Mac mt webcam and also here the errors of the optical drive.
