The price of portable electronics in the Czech Republic is increasing

According to a survey by Karsa Technologies, the price of laptops and mobile phones has risen in recent years.

In domestic online stores, the average price of mobile phones and laptops has increased significantly in recent months, while televisions and perfumes are cheaper. At the same time, price differences, mainly due to the fluctuating exchange rate of the koruna and demand, can start at several thousand crowns. This follows from a survey conducted by Karsa Technologies in the offer of Czech online stores from December to November.

“In the last quarter, commodity prices on the Internet were most affected by the unstable dollar exchange rate. Many domestic online stores had to react to many fluctuations, to which the Czech consumer in question could of course spend, ”TK Michal Jeek from Karsa Technologies told TK today.

People can save several thousand crowns, for example, when buying a television.

According to a survey, plasma TVs were nine percent cheaper than LCD TVs, and LCD TVs were less than five percent cheaper than in December. The average price of a plasma TV in a burrow fell from 33,371 crowns in December to 30,817 crowns and of an LCD TV from 22,482 crowns to 21,261 crowns.

According to the survey, the price of perfumes is also falling. In Norway, the average price of perfume sold on the Internet was 993 crowns, which is three percent less than in December. For example, last August, the average price of perfume sold on the Internet was 1,040 crowns.

“The decline in prices is mainly due to the fierce competition for customers, as a result of which the sales prices of perfumes are falling, even though their purchase prices have been rising in recent months due to the exchange rate. He therefore issued a report on the declining sales margins of the seller, ”said Daniel Kopeck, sales director of the Parfemy.cz online store. According to him, the offer of cheap HVs is thus expanding on the Internet, with two selling only in stone perfumeries and supermarkets.

Mobile phones podraily nejvce

While last December, the average price of a mobile phone on the Internet was 5,185 crowns, and it reached 5,630 crowns. In three months, the price of mobile phones offered on the Internet has risen by more than eight percent. “The reason is, in addition to the new fluctuations, the so-called interest in modern models, to which the online store operator responded by changing the offer,” says Karsa Technologies at first.

Monitors and laptops are also available. In December, the average price of an LCD monitor on the Internet was 3.5 percent lower than in Norway. The average price of a laptop in a hole on the Internet reached 24,903 crowns, which was three percent more than in December.

In contrast, the price of dishwashers and digital cameras is different. The prices of digital cameras have fluctuated by two percent in the last six months. While in December last year they were sold for an average of 4,878 crowns, in the burrow this stack fell by 100 crowns. The price of dishwashers on the Internet is practically unchanged. In the burrow, the average price of the dish was 14,777 crowns. The price difference for the last three months for dishwashers did not exceed 0.5 percent.

According to the buyer of Heureka.cz, average prices of black goods have been falling for a long time, while prices of bad goods have been stagnating. “Let’s not see so much a drop in demand as the impact of constant competition, which pushes down product prices,” said Tom Hodbo, site manager. According to a survey by Heureka, roughly five people on the Internet will spend more than 20,000 crowns, and users with a route between 10,000 and 20,000 K will still lose money.

Internet sales are still popular in the Czech Republic. Even last year, they spent 18 billion crowns in web shops, which was about three billion more than a year or two. Over the past year, experts expect growth to 22 billion crowns. Electronics and computers are among the most frequently purchased goods on the Internet.
